2 Pastors Die After Diving Into Indian Ocean To Rescue Drowning Colleagues
A mission by two preachers to rescue three of their colleagues who were drowning in the Indian Ocean ended in a tragedy.

The duo, a Kenyan and German, were on the Diani coastline in Kwale County when the three called for help prompting them to dive and save them.
Though the three who were being rescued survived, the two evangelists on a church mission in the County, drowned after their floaters were swept away by strong winds.
In a report by the Nation, the Kenya Maritime Authority director-general Cosmas Cherop said: “But they were overwhelmed by the receding tides. The tide was very strong. They cried for help and their two colleagues went to their rescue, unfortunately, the water became rough and they drowned”.
Cherop divulged that after the Wednesday night incident, the Redcross society dispatched a rescue team that pulled the two bodies out of the water.
“But on Thursday morning we retrieved one body and the other body was found (later during the day),” he said.
The KMA boss added that more divers needed to be trained to enhance rescue missions in the ocean.
