Visafone Named CDMA Operator Of The Year

Visafone Communications Limited has won
the Code division multiple access (CDMA)
Operator of the Year award at the just-
concluded AfriICTA 2014 awards ceremony.

“Visafone was adjudged the CDMA Operator
of the Year because of its resilience in the
market in the face of stiff competition and a
very harsh economic climate,” said Mkpe
Abang, Chairman of AfriICTA, who presented
the award.
According to him, the company has remained
a dominant player in the deployment of high
speed internet and high quality voice services
in the intervening years since roll-out. He
described the growth of the company has
phenomenal.
Chief Executive Officer of Visafone, Mr.
Srinivasa K.V, in his response, said “we are
excited by this award which recognizes the
company as the CDMA Operator of the Year.
We are encouraged and will continue to
provide high quality services focused at
specific segments to stand out as the
provider of high quality services in the
telecom sector.”
Visafone had among other awards in the
past was voted The Best ICT Company and
Best Telecom Brand in Nigeria for 2008.
