Anambra First Lady Celebrates Christmas With Prisoners

Wife of the Anambra State governor, Mrs.
Ebelechukwu Obiano, has urged Nigerians to
show love to the less-privileged in the
society, as she celebrated Christmas with
inmates of prison facilities in Anambra.

Mrs Ibaino visited Onitsha, Aguata and
Amawbia prisons, as well as Daughter of
Charity Orphanage Home at Fegge, Onitsha.
“As the wife of the governor, I am privileged
to be the mother of all in the state and I see
you as an important part of one big family.
The fact that you are confined here does not
mean that you cannot come out reformed
and better than others and able to contribute
to the service and progress of our state,” she
said.
The Assistant Comptroller of Amawbia
Prisons, Mr. Chris Akabueze, who received
her, commended the governor’s wife for the
show of love and concern.
