Ebola: South Africa's Billionaire Donates $1m


Patrice Motsepe, South Africa’s first black
billionaire, donated $1 million to the Guinean
fund to help with fighting Ebola spread.
Motsepe, reportedly worth $2.7 billion, said
that the global issue required global

cooperation.
Meanwhile the deadly tropical virus has
claimed more than 5,000 lives in West Africa,
the World Health Organization (WHO) reports.
Several experimental drugs are still undergoing
trials. Meanwhile the death toll from the
disease continues rising dramatically.
Individuals and countries worldwide have been
donating money and sending volunteers to the
affected regions to help Africans battle the
outbreak.
