A man along with his children and two others lost
their lives after the meal�Tragedy struck in the
Uchenyim village area of Cross River state when
5 people died after eating dog meat. The dog in
question was reportedly fond of eating eggs laid
by the villagers� chickens. One such villager
allegedly decided to punish the dog by lacing the
eggs with Gammalin 20, a poisonous substance.
The dog then fell ill and just as it was about to
die, the owner killed it for food and ate it with 2
of his children and 2 other people. The victims
were rushed to a local health center in a bid to
save their lives but they all died.
