10 Nigerian pilgrims die in Mecca


10 Nigerians who went to Saudi Arabia to
perform the Islamic Hajj rites have died.
Chairman of the National Hajj, Mr Aliyu
Tanko, confirmed their deaths but didn’t
reveal the causes of their deaths. A source
with the group said that some of the people
who died had lingering health problems
before embarking on Hajj while the harsh
weather conditions affected others..
